App Problems

App Won't Open

1. Right-click the app > Open (bypasses first-launch security check)
2. System Settings > Privacy & Security > scroll down > click "Open Anyway"
3. Check if the app needs updating: open the App Store > Updates

App Crashes Repeatedly

1. Update the app
2. Delete the app and reinstall
3. Check if the app is compatible with your macOS version
4. Look for crash logs: Finder > Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/

App Won't Uninstall

Use AppCleaner: drag the app onto AppCleaner and it removes all associated files.

Sound Problems

Problem	Fix
No sound	Check volume (F12). Check if muted (F10). Check System Settings > Sound > Output.
Sound playing through wrong device	System Settings > Sound > Output > select correct device
Bluetooth audio not working	Forget and re-pair the device. Check it's selected as output.
Crackling/distortion	Restart Mac. Try a different audio app to rule out app-specific issues.
