Mac Won't Turn On

1. Make sure it's charged (plug it in for 5 minutes, then try)
2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release, then press again
3. Try a different USB-C cable and charger

Mac Gets Stuck on Apple Logo

1. Force shut down (hold power button for 10 seconds)
2. Start in Safe Mode (hold power button, then hold Shift when selecting startup disk)
3. If Safe Mode works, restart normally: the issue may have been a corrupted cache

Recovery Mode

Hold the power button until you see "Loading startup options." Select Options to enter Recovery Mode. From here you can:

• Reinstall macOS: Downloads and reinstalls without erasing your files
• Disk Utility: Repair your disk with First Aid
• Restore from Time Machine: Restore your Mac from a backup
• Terminal: Advanced troubleshooting
